Eligibility
The Granted program is open to advanced doctoral students at Lehigh University who are interested in gaining experience in research administration and related fields. Applicants should:

  • Have completed coursework and reached candidacy (or be near candidacy)
  • Be available to commit to 20 hours per week during the academic year
  • Be available for a full-time summer internship following the assistantship
  • Demonstrate strong written communication and organizational skills

Students from any discipline are welcome to apply. Prior experience in research administration is not required — curiosity and commitment are most important.

Application Timeline

  • Applications accepted anytime; deadline is March 2nd, 2026.
  • Interviews for finalists will take place in March.
  • Announcements and offers made by end of March.

  • Draft a statement of interest (1–2 pages) describing:
    • Why you’re interested in the Granted program
    • What you hope to learn
    • How this experience connects to your broader career goals
